Possibly one worth keeping an eye on, based on that article we could potentially end up with a General Election next year. Timing wise it'd probably end up being around March, right around the time that all the end of financial year stuff, Council Tax forms, etc will be coming through the system.

Doubtful, not with the majority they have. A leadership challenge is more likely if he keeps going off on a Pepper Pig tangent.

Yeah it's doubtful, big majority but looking pretty shaky: most likely hold out until they're ahead in the polls and call a sudden general election in the hopes of dragging it out a further 5 years. Change leader so they can talk about "mistakes made by the previous government" and hope the voters are still thinking of Gordon Brown

No chance. They'll go early, but it's rumoured to be in '23. Rises to national insurance come next year so they won't go into an election on the back of that. They'll offer a olive branch of some kind, reportedly tax giveaways, then call an election.

On the subject of polling cards. Been with RM for just over a year now. Had my own round when we had general election, and so paid extra for delivering the polling cards. I’m now a float. What happens when I deliver polling cards on someone else’s round? I do 50% of the donkey work and get shafted I suppose ?

I am not sure what about your office but you should fill up a form of how many you have personally delivered and then on the back of it you get paid. Duty you were covering is irrelevant, or at least it should be like that but I guess different office different arrangements.
