new d2d regime in do
we used to put in d2d on a daily basis, 4 6 6 4 4 4 m - s, as a part timer worked well, we just delivers ours on our duty day.
if the duty holder put ours in and cherry picked them over the week we would do the same for them on our day.
So now we are told on a monday d2d 24 sections between the 2 frames in walk, followed by the rest tues weds and thurs, none on friday and saturday.
Think they freeing fri and sat up to give us even more stuff to do.
Stress on a monday especially is unbelievable, especially if 2 0r more per slot, 2 per slot works out at min 480 d2d and so on if more..
are we alone? is this agreed or they can do what they want?
p/t are only paid a pro rata..

I don’t understand the question, the latest agreement is they are all to go in Monday and they are warm called over the week.

Re: new d2d regime in do
Lol d2ds have been left in at our office the last 6 weeks following the revision. Highly doubt it’s been reported to the higher ups. This company’s service is on its arse.

In my section it's very common for people backearly on Saturday to put in all the D2Ds, then take every one out Monday.

ok thanks,Clappedoutpostie wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 21:16I don’t understand the question, the latest agreement is they are all to go in Monday and they are warm called over the week.
we came in on a monday, and with no warnning were given a new prep plan, 12 sections per frame ( 2 frames per duty) monday, rest tues to thurs, WHY?
Just adds to stress and work load, especially on mondays , especially when you have more than one to prep up and put in slots.
Agree warm call is correct..
so they now got us doing the prep work for d2d over 4 days instead of 6, wonder what we going to be asked to do now they have freed up more time on fri and sat, adds up to even more work, more stress...

Back early? fair play..Kenfandango wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 21:22In my section it's very common for people backearly on Saturday to put in all the D2Ds, then take every one out Monday.
so 3 out of 4 mondays are floats, they are paid pro rata, so why they take more than they paid to do?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

if a PT'er is on 30hrs then they get paid 30/37ths of a FT'ers basic wage and 30/37ths of a FT'ers delivery supplement.
If the PT'er then works OT up to 37hrs then they get paid OT at SSPR rate which includes the delivery supplement element
which will match the FT'ers rate of pay.

No one I know at work is aware of that, thank you for educating me..
Is there a link to sspr that states what it includes, no worries if you dont have

Re: new d2d regime in do
Well sort of - it's Delivery Supplement and an element of the SSPR OT rate but nobody repeat nobody gets paid D2D money (you'll find historic posts about this) - D2D paymentssardonicus wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 22:30So any pt working overtime up to ft hours is getting paid an element of d2d money?yellowbelly wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 22:09Ignoring all other allowances and pay rates when you first start -sardonicus wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 21:43ok I stand corrected it seems..P13 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 21:39No one gets paid for D2D'ssardonicus wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 21:34Back early? fair play..Kenfandango wrote: ↑11 Nov 2021, 21:22In my section it's very common for people backearly on Saturday to put in all the D2Ds, then take every one out Monday.

were binned and about the same time the 'Delivery Supplement' started being paid. Everyone in the 'delivery'
function (if that's the right word) gets paid it - so Ant in the Specials locker or Dec in DOM support gets paid it even though
they may not go out on an actual delivery - so it's not for delivering D2D's......

Re: new d2d regime in do
Seems to depend on the manager/ area I work across 10 different areas some in the same depo and there are mostly dealing with D2D's in different ways.
I'm turning purple!

Can someone please predict when it'll be universally accepted that we no longer get paid separately for d2ds
