There are a lot of assessments and considerations that are made when, when we need to move an office, environmental considerations, including operational network opportunities, travel plans for colleagues, accessibilities for customers, energy efficiency running cost of the buildings a great big long list so I think there's a lot of thinking that goes into it

So I think in short yes (The environment) this is taken into consideration, but no doubt it will continue to play an even bigger part of our thinking in the future.

But you know, all that said what I have seen is when we combine a number of offers into one larger office, we seem to lose something, maybe it's a little bit of camaraderie, I don't really know so I'd become more curious about this topic and look, I'm not saying that we shouldn't merge offices, I'll say that again I'm not saying that we should emerge officers, but I do think we need to review what we've done in the past and make sure we're clear on the benefits and be clear on what we might lose.

So when I came in, I asked our top performing office list across all of our measures and seventy one of the top one hundred with small officers.
and low absence was a particular standout metric, so maybe more to come on this one.

They closed a few rural offices and merged them at our depot.


Now, everything is totally cramped there is hardly any space down the aisles as frames and Yorks full of parcels are literally on top of each other. Obviously, Royal Mail and the CWU health and safety rep keep on turning a blind eye pretending that everything is hunky dory.

Here's an idea, why not put two walks into a bigger frame and have 2 postmen/women standing shoulder to shoulder for an hour. People on the sorting whilst numerous people clear down, totally ignore mask wearing from day one. And finally, give one on one grief(no witnesses) to the delivery officers why they didn't finish. Pandemic? What Pandemic?

The people doing the revisions have, in my office, have never done a delivery. So what makes them competent?

Maybe Super Simon should look at his managers?

We've had two walks merged to one huge frame since 2018 has to be the biggest pain ever.two people trying to get there loops ready one starting at the start and the other starting at the last loop and working back grrr.

Premier Park in West London has been a disaster ever since they opened it The Office covers mostly W2/W9/W10/W11 & W12 the problem is that to get to your walks you have to go down the A40 or the Harrow Road 2 of the most busiest trunk roads in London and the travel times to and from does affect how much of a delivery span you can get done. Sometimes offices have to be moved or merged due to changes beyond RMs control and I can understand that but RM wanted a few years to merge units to save on money but mostly the quality of service was very badly affected and that doesn't work just for our customers but also RM who will lose business if we are not able to deliver what we say we will
