I haven’t done overtime for a while but with Christmas coming up I was just wondering how much we come out with on average per hour after basic tax, NI, union and pension contributions?

1st 10 hrs after 37 is slightly less than contract hr rate, any more than that is even less. So around £12 minus 32% for tax and NI so a little over £8/hr take home. Well worth trudging through rain ice and snow in the dark getting home just in time for tea and bed in order to do it all again the next day.

You have a point, walking around in horrible cold weather for £8 an hour

On the other hand you might get asked to come in early to do prep etc to get ur whole duty finished on time. (I know management arent that clever so it wont happen).
