Re: Office resign
Yep. That’s how our last one happened and probably the upcoming one too. I’m full time and part timers with less than half my service time were getting their own pick at rounds. Also the guys that moaned the most had their rounds ‘ring fenced’ to keep things nice a cushty for them.

Re: Office resign
Yep, it's looking the same in my office.
Gonna wait until it's official before a few of us 'voice our concerns'
Part-timers getting looked after and FT getting shafted, the favourites getting looked after too.
I'M YET TO SEE ANYTHING THAT IS GONNA BE FAIR.
Nothing is gonna change with indoor workplans either.

Re: Office resign
Ft get pick at Ft walks
Pt get pick at pt Walks
if there are less ft walks than pt walks then pt staff with less service time than some ft staff will leap frog them, unless the ft staff left over want to downgrade their contract to pt hours.

Re: Office resign
The Way Forward Agreement still holds the field
viewtopic.php?f=36&t=11941
Section 16 is the part you need
Also worth remembering that if there is no material change to a duty, then that duty holder can opt out of the office resign!
Changes due to the 1 hour reduction in the working week aren’t material!

Re: Office resign
What's the difference between a full time and a part time walk? I thought all walks were virtually the same length and time.

Re: Office resign
The problem is management are just deciding at will what dutys are part time and what are full time..im full time on a full time duty and they've just decided its going part time..been on it for 9 years..don't think they can do that on a table top revision????

Re: Office resign
Full-timers with 18+ years service will end up as reserves and possibly asked to go to another office.
Part-timers with 2-3 years service will get duties (good ones). It's totally unfair.
WHAT'S THE UNION DOING ABOUT IT. ABSOLUTE COWARDS.

Re: Office resign
Over the last 10 years or so i've watched every obstacle put in my way to stop myself and others getting a duty. Duties being made part-time from full-time. Duties being changed from Non driving to driving (for no reason).stranglerscolin wrote: ↑08 Jun 2021, 16:09The problem is management are just deciding at will what dutys are part time and what are full time..im full time on a full time duty and they've just decided its going part time..been on it for 9 years..don't think they can do that on a table top revision????

Re: Office resign
What does your rep say? They should have been involved from day 1! The office has a right to vote on the proposed revision and whether to have a re-sign. If this hasn’t been done, get in touch with your branch. The whole point of the new agreement is that members get a meaningful say in the changes. Don’t take no for an answer!

Re: Office resign
Most probably because they are cutting out some of the indoor hours in your office if it was a table top revision
