Re: bank holiday
The correct procedure now if you have a week off which has a bank holiday in it is for your annual leave to be debited for only four days and consequently your a/l balance " should" be correct.
If you have registered for the RM people app then you can see exactly what has been taken for that week.

Re: bank holiday
If a BH falls on your day off, the office staff need to put a BH credit in for it. It will only take four days from your leave if the BH doesn't fall on your day off.centenaryman wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 19:06thats right.......if you are contracted for 5 days and are hols on a bank hol week you will only use 4 days holihatedogs wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 17:07The correct procedure now if you have a week off which has a bank holiday in it is for your annual leave to be debited for only four days and consequently your a/l balance " should" be correct.

Re: bank holiday
Except it's in hrs and minutes now, not just days. A Monday credited for being your day off will not 'buy' you a Wednesday off for example. At least not in our office, you'd be 45mins short.centenaryman wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 19:06thats right.......if you are contracted for 5 days and are hols on a bank hol week you will only use 4 days holihatedogs wrote: ↑11 May 2021, 17:07The correct procedure now if you have a week off which has a bank holiday in it is for your annual leave to be debited for only four days and consequently your a/l balance " should" be correct.

Re: bank holiday
In our office it would, as despite having longer Weds/Thurs/Fri, every day is added/subtracted as say 5.5 hours if you're on a 27.5 contract. I don't know whether it's down to lazy management or what, and I'm not sure if the same applies to the other 7 offices in our unit. At least it makes it easier to sort things out I suppose.rambo1 wrote: ↑13 May 2021, 22:24Except it's in hrs and minutes now, not just days. Re: bank holiday
Probably not being entered into the system properly as locally our shorter day shows as less hours used on the holiday cards generated by PSPBlaine wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 03:41In our office it would, as despite having longer Weds/Thurs/Fri, every day is added/subtracted as say 5.5 hours if you're on a 27.5 contract. Re: bank holiday
When I have been in this situation I only use 4 days A/L for the week instead of 5.

Another shining example of inconsistencies within the same business. Each office seems to make up it's own rules.Blaine wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 03:41In our office it would, as despite having longer Weds/Thurs/Fri, every day is added/subtracted as say 5.5 hours if you're on a 27.5 contract.
