Permanent duty query

Post by jb8178 »

I would like to ask if you get a permanent duty in a repick can the management at any time remove you from it after you have been doing it for years for eg Dom decides to because he wants to change things around, and is there a unions stand point on this.

Apology's if this has been mentioned before i have searched for relevant threads but unable to find anything specific to my query.

thanks

I wouldn't think so, maybe operational needs thing for a short period but not long term just because he wants to.
The way your question is worded is a bit confusing, a repick is done on seniority so even if someone has been on a duty for years if another has more seniority then they can choose it, but only during a repick.
