coming in early/cheating/rats!!!!

Post by dongash »

bomby459, couldn't agree more. the same people are only out for themselves! it is a pity they can't be thrown out of the union, as they are still only a minority. only this morning at 03.55am full size rats in post uniform were waiting for the 4am man to open up!!!! i think cars on delivery is a bigger problem (much more at it) who taught rats to drive??? regards dongash macclesfield opg :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana

Boss asked me yesterday if I would be happy to start at 6:15 when I said no he asked why. I said I don't want later starts without a National Agreement. His face dropped and said "I cant put that on the form".

our office is a 5am start, dom asked our rep to find out the opinion on the floor to moving to a 6am start.think only 2 people wanted it out of over 100.i cant believe the amount of people that arrive at work at 4.30am so sad.mind you our phg on nights refuses to open up until 4.50am.

Our duties now start at 0630. Half the office is in by 0500. A couple will come in at 0430! Even now with the nights almost gone and the mech boxes comming in later they still do it. One day it may sink in that it just aint worth it, but getting in early and getting a flyer is so ingrained in our office culture that somehow i doubt it

unfortunaty our own blueshirts are doing a very good job for leyton
slowly but slowly these arseholes are making our industry into a part time job
its only the union and its loyal supporters that are making a stand,
but it seems we are on a cruise ship with a small hole in the bottom
If this carries on it will only be a matter of time before
we all have to start thinking about abandaneing ship!!!

Ok u say "no one wants the rep job." Ok so this is where a few people who care like u care mate!! U must as your on here posting!!! RIGHT? Well all my advice is get a action group up or call it a forum where ROYAL MAIL cant ignore you.. Say 6 people from your office who care what goes on and meet once a week for 10-15 mins with RM and your area Rep to see how your office can run in this hard time of attack from RM.. And IF ur not being attacked then YOU WILL BE SOON... Not trying to scare you mate but this cant go on with NO REP ON BOARD and RM think they have a clean sweep on there hands.... STAND UP AS A UNIT,, DONT MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL JUST A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE WHO CARE AND HAVE YOUR SAY. With area reps backing!!!!

Once you have a basis of contact within the union even if not a Rep u still can get alot done!!! Get your most senior person, from the drivers, the floor and ex phg's as the 318 and walks will be looked into so u can save as much time, duties, money, for the people who do the graft ... U AND ME AND ALL THE OTHER CWU MEMBERS!!!

OUT

KEEP A UNION OF YOUR OWN EIAN... WE ARE ALL EQUAL... GOOD LUCK MATE!"!! :Applause :Applause :Applause :wave :wave :wave
