One day last week we had two trays for virtually every duty in Wave 1, when normally it's a maximum of one try., wave 2 is pretty irrelevant when we're getting enough in Wave 1
Bulk posting? Often when a load of mail hits the 5 day limit on the DTS and gets released (along with any other mail for them DPs that have got mail that has been released) that every walk can get 2 trays, a few will get 3 maybe 4 trays and if they're very unlucky they might get 5 trays.

Are we meant to just flick through the frame to find the 1st class letters? Anyone know how that’s meant to work?

I noticed there is a letter from OFCOM giving RM a bit of a telling off this week. It's in regards to RM preemptively informing customers about letter changes. OFCOM has reminded them that their decision has not yet been made so they shouldn't be doing that.
The letters posted here - but it could be faked

The letter is 100% genuine.
It would be hilarious if Ofcom said No USO changes - that would screw RM & CWU & New Owner
If only
It would, but RM are obviously confident in riding rough -shod over any OFCOM protestations.

Their answers are completely unbelievable and at total odds with the real world at the dirty end of the business. I wonder at times if I live in a different universe to all the muppets outside of a DO.
They believe they are in the real world and it is you that is watching shadows on the cave wall. I think we've reached the point where two decades of garbage data has led to numerous fatal assumptions which look set, in a rational world, to render the ODM a non-starter. Though like any sociopath, it will be easier to make reality conform to their delusion than admit they are wrong.

I've yet to see this booklet, much as I would love to see it purely for the novelty of laying eyes upon any kind of evidence that some kind of coherent plan is actually being offered up.
"watching shadows on the cave wall. " Beautiful turn of phrase. Bravo.

The most some people will have to do is rotate between 2 duties. I get that people don't want change, but in the grand scheme of things of whats coming in, that is no great hardship learning a different walk. Some will have to learn the driving and walking side over 4 different duties, others will need to learn most of the office.
Surely the bigger issue is delivering double or triple mail every single day?
At the end of the day, they can`t make us work over our time. Cut off, bring it back. This, along with a spot of "quiet quitting" is the only way the management will learn that this bin-fire will not work.

Absolutely, stand up to the fookers, this is being rammed in without any consideration. I’d also add use a trolly and tell them you’ll be even slower, so more won’t get done.

When it kicks in AFAIK we'll be sending the 1C and 2C manual letters and flats in separate trays but all the trays will go on the same york. I'm guessing at your end there'll be a couple of IPS frames that are for 1C and the rest will be for 2C. Probably each with have a selection for the other for any that have slipped through the net.

For the mech any 2C that you get through will be due for delivery, the DTS system will decide what gets released.
