i never realised i could only use this scheme to cycle to and from work, all these years i've been breaking the rules :no no
What rules have you been breaking?
Why be such a prick?

The scheme with its incentives is designed to allow you to buy a bike to commute to and from work.
Nowhere does it say you can't use it for recreational purposes as well.

However you want the incentives to buy a bike whose primary use is recreational.(because nobody really needs a £1000+ bike to cycle to work)
That isn't what the scheme is for.
you most definitely in the wrong, it can be used to get to work but no rules state that’s what it’s for. i got mine few years back only cycled to work on it a few times.

In My Bundle+ I'm getting: "You're currently not eligible for Cycle to Work".

What's the criteria for C2W eligibility?

Seems to be a suggestion in other posts that you have to be employed for a certain time before becoming eligible (although can't see where it says anything about that in the FAQ's) or using the scheme might take you below minimum wage.

Any idea when the cycle to work will be back open for applications. It's been shut for a while now.

Once the pay deal is sorted. They vote tomoro on it. Are we actually limited to Halfords only?

Where can I see the list? I was looking at balfes bikes.

Edit found this:
https://www.balfesbikes.co.uk/pages/bal ... e-to-work/

These guys seem to be a lot cheaper than tredz and u can use the Halfords voucher with them. My bike is £1150 versus £1350 at tredz versus Halfords just not selling any decent spec (or a lot of good brands oddly?) at reasonable prices from what I can see lol

This list is on the my bundle tile on the people app. It has a lot of independent shops aswel, plus it says:
Online

"You can use your LoC online at tredz.co.uk, and any other online store who is approved by Halfords. When ordering online, add the items to your basket ensuring they don't exceed your LoC value, and enter the LoC Number at the checkout. Get your bike and equipment delivered and you can start cycling to work as soon as they arrive."

So maybe you could use it on there.
