Moral in our office is good, decent managers who most people like, very little cutting off going on 90% of people show good will and work over.
thats great and all and glad youre happy to do it, but youre showing goodwill to a company who stabbed us in the back over our balloted strike. Earning extra money is one thing, good for you, but i wouldnt do it for "goodwills" sake.
Goodwill to our customers mate. The union let us down just face it,they are all talk.I just get the job done, book the extra time and go home.

I don't think I've had a single day that wasn't terrible since this thread was started. The last 6 days of delivery have been 6 of the worst I can ever remember. Last Thursday was the worst anybody at our office can ever remember, from 30-year lads to 1-year lads (& lasses).

Very busy on the mech last night. We had about the amount that we'd normally get in inward for Wave 2 to start off with, let alone whatever came in during the night

Our 2nd wave of mech was horrendous, posting from the brexshit party for every house on every round. Plus they'd obviously run out of time so it wasn't walk sequenced just sorted to walks. Caused chaos in our office. Some of the newer people really struggled with it not being sequenced, everyone talks about how much easier it was years ago but the indoor prep side like mech is much easier now to when it wasn't sequenced

There's only time to run 4 (maybe 5 at a push) boxes per batch. If they're allowed to roll them over to the next day, they get rolled over. If not they just get walk sorted and if there's not enough time to do that some just get sent as manual

I don't see a problem surely if you leave the office late due to heavy workload you give more of your walk away? Unless you want to stay out & claim O/T.

We have only been taking 2 loops out of the 6 loops on our walk & to be honest I'm not really looking forward to middle January when it slack, we are doing less now :nana

You’ve got it, I did notice last summer Lino stopped asking if we where taking our lapsing, one day we was going to take it so we could come back early & it had already gone :chuckle

Your local MCs and MPUs have probably been told that they're not allowed to roll any left-overs to the next day. Did they at least walk sort?
