Can sort of see why RM are thinking along these lines. But half a dozen parcels or a dozen on a busier day(excluding Christmas obviously) is not going to free up time for an extra 70 or so calls per postie. Oh wait it's called lapsing, which we already do to take us over our time most days. And what about all them hours they have to find to take f-timers down to 35 hrs. Think most of job losses will be people jacking it in.
