Ahh, nice..just thought of something.
I had a rant earlier about why couldn't the CWU counter RM in the courts (remember last weeks ruling about the unlawful strikes?)....so how's about H&S inspectors are tipped off and perhaps some kind of lawsuit is filed against RM...it doesn't matter a f**k if "we caused it" - Health and Safety (especially nowadays) are the rules - if you can't follow them.......

Its not been confirmed yet but a few of us are doing some digging around, but someone at BSMC overheard that backlog and strike work is being sent over to a wharehouse that used to be used by RM as a bolthole during pressure times and that they have Polish/Somali's sorting/segging the post as soon as we get any news i'll post

Don't know what they do, but one thing for sure THEY can not do our jobs properly, its alleged that one highly paid senior manager really went at the job today? put about 10 pkts in a van pissed off on delivery came back and then pissed of HOME? Well done that person?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. Don't think they will pay o/time for clearing backlog, they say it's rewarding you for strike action, so if you did o/time before...tell em to stick it!!!
Just heard that warehouse near Oldham which they were using to sort backlog is closing after only 4 days, from what we can gather it’s something to do with Postcon not being happy about the way Royal Mail is delaying the work by not dealing with the mail sequentially.
theres mail everywhere at our office!!! despite putting some walks on docket and keeping the walkholders inside sorting!!! after they had gone numerous 600's appeared as if by magic and replaced what they had sorted with even more!!!! despite this i have had some of the best times ever this week with selective culling!!! also had a few of these and a good with the lads before going out!!!
