They most know the strength of feeling, the fact the strikes have been fairly full strength..the deal will have to be good to lose that strength and support, they know about the dangers of stopping the memento..I am worried

Re: DEAL REACHED
If this is talks about talks it is no deal for a just and fair settlement for all in the CWU!. What of the bullying harassment of all our members the cuts lapsing of jobs will they put all the jobs back in they have cut without the unions agreement from the 2007 agreement for if they do not it is no deal for us but APPEASEMENT FOR ALL!.

The very things we are striking over have not yet been resolved, but from nowhere an apparent deal to stop striking is imminent. I don't get it, I really don't WTF ?

I don't think its a "Deal" that we can vote on - more of a form of words that allow for a future deal to be put to members for them to vote on, at least thats they way I read it.Wild Rover wrote:The very things we are striking over have not yet been resolved, but from nowhere an apparent deal to stop striking is imminent. I just hope that they got some concessions that make calling off the strikes acceptable to the membership. For instance, lapsing and absorption suspended for the duration, and an acceptance in principle of outside assessors to be introduced.

Oh, we're sinking like stones,
All that we fought for,
All those places we've gone,
All of us are done for. ....Don't panic

Re: DEAL REACHED
trying to look on the bright side here....(i know..not easy with royal mail involved)
Here's how I would like to see things happen. Both parties go straight to acas as soon as possible, say Friday or monday. Then the union could give the acas talks 1 week to get a new deal on pay, modernisation, bullying. If no deal is reached we go back to striking in a weeks time. Definately don't want 3 to 4 weeks of talks. The closer we get to christmas the more royalmail will stall, and a deal becomes less likely.

i feel sorry for the poster (post has been removed) as even if what you say came to be we wouldnt be as miserable as you. Taking time to register to a site to troll it up is very sad. I hope your life gets better and you lose all that bitterness.
Wouldnt mind some announcement over what we`re doing tomorrow....
