...If you are referring to the bullying and harassment which you believe is happening on these forums, then to that, I cannot answer?

Perhaps, you should seek further clarification from whoever is modding these forums as to what is properly deemed as bullying and harassment.
Well, none of the forum administrators deemed this worthy of a reply yet. I'll be interested to see if they deny that it is happening, or if they accept that it is happening, then what do they propose to do about it.

Maybe I'm being oversensitive, but then if that is the case, couldn't you say that about yourselves in the workplace?
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.

Going back to your original query.....I've only had the pleasure of being on this site for about a month or so and like yourself feel like I've landed on a pro-cwu forum. Then a fanny like you comes along and reminds me it's not,if you don't like what you read, then don't visit....!!! I really do wish this was an Official CWU forum....so the rest of us didn't have to waste time sifting through your non constructive comments...!! As for B&H....you gotta be joking,I've heard worse talk in a school playground....!! And it can't be that bad......cos you keep replying.....!!! Then to 'Fluffy'....who thinks the union is no use,why do you think there even is a union........because management cannot be trusted to treat staff however they please...!! If the RM was such a great employer, paid a wage in-line with the work we do and it was fair to it's staff....then there would be no need for a union...!! That's why they're here...to stop us all getting stamped all over...!! If you want to be fed to the dogs(like your whole office)...then don't join..!! I,like every cwu member...want to have an opinion and if it's not heard, then I wanna do something about it...!! Glad I don't work in your office...!!!

oh and by the way larger chimp you could start by not seeing every post which doesn't agree with you as a threat. mine certainly wasn't. I was merely pointing out that if you intend to stir things up, as you obviously do, then you should stand by your convictions and not shout "Miss, they are picking on me!" every time you get the desired response. It seems that you intend to portray yourself as the downtrodden victim in this totally pointless thread. Sorry mate, as far as I am concerned you haven't but you have shown yourself to be some kind of attention seeker. well you have had your 15 minutes of fame and i hope you are happy. (Please check the content for hidden threats). :Very Happy

I doubt the moderators can monitor every post made on the site. There is a process of self regulation though. If you feel someone has made an insulting or over aggressive bulling comment simply click the red “ ! “ symbol in the triangle which you will see in the top right corner of the box.

This will alert the moderators to a potentially abusive post and they can decide to take appropriate action or not. Simple :Very Happy

Partly because you are replying and quoting them - I have been going through this one thread for 30 minutes and yes it is full of people breaking the rules and I am deleting and warning as I go.

But I have a life beyond work and this board and if you really believe some posts are guilty of B&H (and some are) then use the report feature - ALL OF YOU.

BTW people who call members who hold different opinions, cowards, traitors and use other abusive terms are doing exactly what they accuse managers of and I am heartily sick of it - I thought that being part of a Union was accepting other points of view obviously others don't. I have been hanging back from warning people but no longer - people are ignoring the Moderators and Postman and its going to stop. If you get 5 warnings you will be banned temporarily.

Lets Make it easy:

1. No name calling.
2. NO accusations of being a Manager. We have some but how does that progress your point.
3. No accusations of being militants. We have some but how does that progress your point.
4. Posts we think are B&H will be warned and people will be banned - Temporarily or Permanently.
5. Read the f***ing rules.

Hang on a minute. I called the bloke a coward for stirring up trouble and then screaming bullying when anyone challenged his opinion. It is cowardly in the same way as managers wind people up in the office to provoke a response and when they get it say "you can't talk to me like that i am a manager" then we go down the conduct code. I appreciate the job you do here as moderator but take another look at what this bloke is doing. I won't withdraw what I said and if that means a ban from here then so be it.

This is the difference you have explained, with no abuse, why you think he is a coward - this is different to calling him a coward and then not explaining why - one is debate the other is abuse. BTW can't remember who said the coward quote or in what context it was I just picked that word as it stuck in my mind, and I was pissed off at the time.

I support the strike but also believe nothing will be achieved.
We'll iron out some agreement and we'll get £100 lump sum and then shafted again 2 months down the line.
