And therein lies the problem. Why have you got a wife? Get shot of her, you'll be able to support your collegues for as long as it takes.

Seriously, you have my sympathy, but there's always someone else worse off. What's a lousy days pay? Not much in the grand scheme of things is it? How do you think miners felt, losing a WHOLE YEARS pay?

Personally, after working part time for two years, I'm up s**t creek. I've spent thousands, redundancy and savings, just paying the bills. On the advice of a certain citizen, I'm even considering a council house, but will I cross a picket line ? Never.

You had me going there for a second "WHAT! Is he serious - ditch the wife? Mind you, it does have some logic.....no he wasn't serious ( bugger! )" :left: :left: :left:

I understand what you're saying, but I started my PT career with no savings, redundancy or any sort of bank roll ( if I did have anything like one, it would have been spent supporting me and the wife during my five months with no dole before I joined RM ), and like I said I did not make the decision lightly, ( I'm still feeling the repurcussions on my mental health this week - thankfully no one has said anything negative, ( as I think they are entitled to do - f**k what the law & RMs conduct code says ), because I think I might have done something silly by now ( and got a stage 2 for my trouble :cry :cry :cry )

sadly I think I did and I apologise for that  your mind seems to be racing...you may need to talk to someone, good luck

Moggy, I gratefully accept your apology ( :Applause :Applause :Applause ) your words the other day were a bit harsh, but no worse than I tired to prepare for, and if you'll let me stand on the picket on Saturday, I'll gladly shake your hand as a man to respect - you'll have no hard feelings from me.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
