Just tried this does not work I'm afraidCelgar wrote:This is likely the 'tax reference' code which can be found on your payslip in the top middle heading box. The code will look something like : 111/AB22222. Actually there is an employer code as well which the HMRC have asked me for in the past but it is almost identical to the tax reference code.SWIM wrote:its asking for 'employer code' on registration form.
anyone know what it is?
thanks.

The difficulty was the voucher can only be used if you pick up bike from store and I was asking for home delivery. Why this was an issue I have no idea. Anyway as soon as I tried this it all went through. Thanks

I use 2 cycle 2 work until i was on acid (low dose, low grade) one morning and the police saw me swerving around on the pavement and inquired into my wellbeing. After saying various nonsense phrases 2 them I was arrested !!!!
RM said I can cycle in the future if I'm not tripping balls
Thank u 4 ur compassion and understnding RM
Sorry 2 police who found me in such a soiled state

The £1000 limit can you add on money yourself?

Re: Cycle 2 work scheme
Short answer is no but i have heard of people coming to an arrangement with their local bike store but it is against the rules of the scheme.
I was considering buying a bike above the £1000 limit and tried to contact someone to see if the limit could be raised (it's been the same since the scheme started) but have hit a brick wall. The My Bundle help desk said contact your employer and HR said it was nothing to do with them so no idea where to go from there

Re: Cycle 2 work scheme
I've not used it through RM, but have twice through a previous employer. 2nd time was over a grand and the bike shop was happy for me to pay the difference. I would think that the only issue would be if for some reason you wanted to cancel the agreement early, or not take ownership at the end. You'd then also lose the extra you've paid

Does anyone know which online stores can be used for the cycle to work scheme? I know we can use Tredz and Rutland cycles but I was looking for other options.

Re: Cycle 2 work scheme
I think the limit at the start was £500.
This is a bike for commuting to work not for competing in the Tour de France.
I bought a Carrera Subway - cost abut £300 with helmet and paniers. It had 2 wheels, a chain some pedals and some gears.
It did the job.
