Hours docket. Damp early on but cleared up. Day off tomorrow and I'm off for a few pints.

Masses of post, not many packets, but everything turn like alka seltser in my hands just disintegrated, 3 specials went like "POOF".

And the waterproof outer and leggings give up afer a few hours, my feet looked like they been in the bath all week!!.
Horrid.

Busy couple of day. Friday was absolutely rammed with packets. Today not as bad but the usual situation, everyone out, so they came back.

First day out on my own on a duty... got back before the office closed which was a bonus but my feet are shredded, back sore and I have a weird lump on my arm from where I keep the rubber bands.. might dump them in my pouch from now on...

Really heavy today, wouldn't have been so bad if the MC had kept to the agreement and sent the second lorry down for 6.30 instead of the 7.15 it did. Also noticed lots of second class mail which was dated yesterday..........I suppose the MC must have had too many people on last night to be able to leave the second class until Monday when it was due (that said, Monday will be much lighter

).

A month in, and the job itself is great, but this getting in an hour early without pay is wearing a bit thin.
I'm also being given absorptions a long way away from my usual walk, and I can hardly afford any further petrol costs.

Still being something of a newbie, and wanting to impress (in a hope that full time could be a possibility one day....), I don't want to ruffle too many feathers, but of course at the same time I don't want to be taken the p1ss out of.

My previous encounters with a union were shocking to say the least, but I remain open minded.
All feedback appreciated, cheers.

National Minimum Wage - £6.08/hr
Our pay - approx £10/hr

Paid meal relief - 40 minutes full time (legal requirement 20 minutes)
- 30 minutes part time (legal requirement 0)

That union - they've really shafted us.
