Set a record of 17 signed fors on a Tuesday a few weeks back. 'Bettered' it today with 19. Used to be the best day of the week. Is only marginally less worse than Mondays now

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Tuesday now = late mech, loads of packets, 30+ minutes of wtll, extra loop of lapsed, van checks and too many specials and tracked , so usual 2:30 finish for us, was 10:30ish finish.
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Getting used to the job now
Loads of letters & packets today so I knew it would be a late one. A full pouch and loads of flats with stairs - ho hum.
At least the sun came out

Sh*t walk this week, been measured as too long after much arguing between tosses, sorry mean bosses and walk holder. Now its all prepped and bundled and half bagged by f/t prior to p/t start so he has all the time he needs walking the streets longer than anyone else. Geniuses. And i STILL went over by 30 minutes.

Off today. Got a phone call at 7 asking could I come in and take tomorrow off instead. Decided I would, regretted it as soon as I got in - heavy as hell! Ah well, off tomorrow...

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Utter pig of a day, none of the measures that help the walk get done within hours were acheived due to f/t sorter having to deal with massive amounts of Scottish Power and local council mailouts. Pretty much everyone thought they'd go over their time and it was just assumed we would. The question is did they know this was coming and did nowt about it or is the forecast is utterly f*cking useless?
