Were they all attempted before 1pm?fishtank wrote:23 specials.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Parcels don't seem to be shifting. Xmas mail is still coming in by the york load, and people have started cutting off or streaming. At least it was dry today.

Even though I've been working just to my time this year I seem to be even more tired than normal, I'm going to blame the packets...........never seen so many (not to mention the cards that are just now starting to come in their droves).

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Left a row and still booked an hour of extended, most number of packet sacks and signatures this walk has had during my tour since the resign, positively mental.
Is alternating inward/outward mail standard through the UK at this time of year? Do management think that alternating between vaguely doable delivery spans and silly season days will encourage more of us to "go the the extra mile" on the heavy days? Funny how extra staff are not brought in to cover the outward days, even funnier how they rely/expect the PTers to pick up the pieces yet receive no pro-rata extra Xmas bonus or extra holiday pay and yet a lot of the o/t PTers do not think of the bigger picture and hold out for a better deal...
