Jumping in on an incredible and very informative conversation between Woody and space, are we really down to 1000 DO's from near 1,500 from the last time amounts were mentioned from memory?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

A couple of hundred DO's have merged, it was part of the asset stripping.

I expect we'll see a few more as CSS machines are removed and MPUs reverting back to being normal DOs. Some of the offices having their CSS machines removed might have a large enough bit of empty space to squeeze in another smaller DO into it
