The problem we have is we either,
a. support RM against their managers by going into work
b. support those appointed by RM to screw us over.

What a choice.

I see a 3rd Option

3. Standing by your own principles.

Its an unfortunate side effect that you are helping the managers, but I think principles are worth sticking to.

With no PIC where exactly do we stand?
When we went on strike did the manager`s cross our picket line, Yes they did so I will cross there's no problem.
Any way most managers in our office spend most of the time doing postman's work. So I think they are over paid. They should be getting postman`s rate for doing postman`s work.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

We had a floor meeting today and the DOM announced they will all be striking but they will be replaced by managers from other places. So probably Admin staff who know nothing about a DO.

No and it should not be happening!

Why not? It's common practice. On a bank holiday week Wednesday is really quiet and Tuesday is busy - it makes sense to swap them around.
