As listed above our office went live on 10th June.... biggest cock-up i've ever seen, now 6 weeks in, most weeks we have no porters, still have quite a few rounds which are way out of sequence, cut-offs have trebled, and overtime claims have also gone up. Staffing problems are mostly the reason for the porters, the so-called super sorters now make more missorts than ever. When we went live we were told by the planners that they would be on hand to help iron out problems, as we are now in whats apparently called PIR, but we have seen them 3 times in the past 6 weeks. Anytime we challenge the planners about the rounds that are out of sequence, we get told 'It was you who wrote out the sequence', which is a load of rubbish, as not even a blind man would sequence them like this. As far as i know, not all cut-offs or instances of the manager being on delivery are being reported on the DODR, which looks like they are brushing the problems under the carpet. We still have staff members coming in early on overtime to sort the mail to reliev the daily pressure, and this is 6 weeks in. Just shows that this revision isn't working at all, and from what i've read on these forums, it doesn't look like its working anywhere. Fair play to the planners who screwed our office up, they were working 4 offices at once, surely there's a better chance of getting it right if they finish one office first before starting on another.
