Often floaters have more knowledge of other duties so moving isn't too much of an issue(in our office) They're usually just moved within their rotation anyway. Personally i always check the floaters okay with moving when i work my day off,i would rather do my own duty and if he's fine with that,no problem. If he was being chucked onto something he didn't know,i would either do that duty or not work my day off. Certainly wouldn't come in on o/t and watch him having a s**t day struggling,that would be too embarrassing. I tend to agree that's it's his duty too not just mine.
