Are these the possible outcomes I am also facing TBT??
Nothing
Serious Warning
Suspended Dismissal
Allowing you to or Suggesting you resign
Dismissal for gross misconduct
And what is Suspended Dismissal? and why would they suggest someone resign?
You are familiar with my case and Im hoping for a rap across the knuckles and a Serious.
There is one other possible option that they sometimes use in non criminal cases in where they transfer people either voluntary or compulsory (either to another office or within an office - to different sector for example) although it is relatively rare.

I would want that in writing ashadd...and then i would probably still ignore it.ashadd wrote:At our d.o. now, with our revision just starting, we prep our d2d implicititly, we always used to , i might add, but by doing so now and the dom thinks its taking to long , then he instructs us not to take them , "operational needs" they call it, so they get left and i assume dumped by RM.Talk abot double standards..![]()
I'd like to see a manager write that up as refusing a reasonable request.

Yes, this is something that has been discussed in our office many times!DGP1 wrote:For all those who are questioning the position of the OP then you need to remember that this is something that RM wanted, bag carriers who have the mail delivered to their homes and deliver it from there (I believe it the 'Dutch model')
And thinking about it...........if they're having the mail delivered to their house then the D2Ds should be bundled in with the mail for that particular day

Never suggested sex relationships were not allowed these days and well done with having a 'wife' ahead of legislation on same sex marriages.misst123 wrote:lol is a same sex relationship not allowed these days! are we still living in olden days!!!BoltonPostie wrote:Maybe she/he/alien/reptile/cwu minister for propaganda/it is in a same sex relationship.Lounge Lizard wrote:"Gender - Female" then "my wife trying to continue her day to day house hold duties as well"Himaggen wrote:misst123 wrote:I fell behind as i struggled to add the weekly d2d in my frameWhich is it?misst123 wrote:No i dont have a frame
If you cannot put forward a convincing story to us when you have time to think before typing, how on earth do you expect to put a convincing argument to the Appeal Manager?Which is it ?
Also if the mail is dropped off at your house in the morning what happens to packets and signed fors that you've not been able to deliver ?![]()
Or maybe we need to get the bullshitter gauge out again.

Re: Suspended None delivery of D2D items
I have raised concerns regarding these "waysiders". How does the manager know they are wearing the correct uniform/footwear, how do they know they are using the proper equipment, how do they know they havent got a member of their family helping them on a saturday or any other day, how do they actually know they are turning up as they dont sign in or out and how do they get WTLL information and any new training thats needed. Its a well dodgy way of working imo and open to so many problems.

Yes, proper arrangements probaly aren't in place in such circumstances, unlike the following offiicial Wayside Offices, some of which might have closed over the last three years :obscurityknocks wrote:I have raised concerns regarding these "waysiders". Re: Suspended None delivery of D2D items
Just read the opening post.. Shocking. Mail being dropped off at your house with D2D's? Unbelievable arrangement.
I wouldn't have any mail to be delivered anywhere near my house or property. Disaster.

Re: Suspended None delivery of D2D items
I have read the posts here with interest and a sense of foreboding. Having represented a lot of people on conduct code cases I know from experience that dodgy deals are set up by managers to expedite the delivery of mail. Many of these breach accepted codes of practice which our members, particularly new ones, are not aware of. When the proverbial hits the fan the managers deny all knowledge of this and our members take the can for it. Too late now but a lot of this comes down to the delivering of D2Ds to the home address. Was a driver instructed to do this by the manager ? If so it was a recognised arrangement authorised by the manager.
Royal Mail managers including those charged with investigating conduct code cases have never let the truth or common justice get in the way of anything so I don't hold out much hope. But I do hope it went well for you.

Re: Suspended None delivery of D2D items
I was always told if you took your mail home even if by accident in your bag it was classed as theft, So if this manager had been sending mail to this persons house surely the manager should be held to account for theft (in some way shape or form), It's not like he/she could deny the fact the mail was being dropped off at the persons home as it was getting sent there on a daily basis.
