Why would you say that you think you are being treated OK? If you are being walked all over is that ok???????
I understand what you are saying about only just joining RM but as you gain more years in RM you will realise that a lot of the literature placed on notice boards by Managers is very often far from the truth and is aimed at getting people to submit to thier view.

If you have fears, find out who your union rep is and speak to them. I'm sure you will be fine.

Hope you go on ok in your new Job.
Live and learn and trust me, I'm sure you will learn very quickly!

Plain and simple martin mate, if they are being nice to you it is for 1 reason and 1 reason only THERE OWN GAIN !!!

Stand there tall and stand there proud, theres a silver lining behind every cloud !!

Dont fear for your job, and never scab, you will be fine, at the end of the day no matter what you do for them it wont be enough so stick to the book and the job they employed you to do. Dont take any Shi* off them there will be always somebody there to back you up, they are just lazey good for nothing coffee drinkers who want to get home and put there feet up, they dont care about you so dont give a toss about them, its there problem not yours

Stand your ground !!! We Fight Together !!!

Don't go into the office without your rep. These glorified office boys lie better than an Axminster carpet!

I did phone up the office as soon as I realised, I also rang the DOM's Mobile I have both calls on my mobile showing that I did ring, Oh well nothing to worry about 2nite, I've got 2morrow night to bite my finger nails, plus I haven't had a day off this week so could that go in my favour, if they start being funny with me should I turn round and say that I aint had a day off this week as I should and if they say that I said I'd work my day off turn round and say "have you gor proof of that" ?

I use my mobile as my alarm so no problem with power cuts (but very tempting to throw it against the wall sometimes) :nana

well done in Stockport and a special well done to James who seems to be a very quick learner with that attitude you're more than welcome in our office. It usually takes more than 6 months for new starters to realise that they are being s**t on. :dance :dance :dance :Applause :Applause :Applause

Well all went o.k no hair dryer treatment off my manager (well he is 5ft f**k all and I'm 6ft 4) just got a "can you do any overtime today" which I regret I did all walks are really not equal, did 2/3rds of someone elses and it took me 2.5 hours and it was in an area that made Iraq look safe, kids chucking stones at me, and when I asked this woman who looked a bit like Pat Butcher for Directions she took me down a dark passageway, she kwpt turning round and giving me a dodgy grin at which point I covered my back doors up with my bag as I thought she was going to try and take me from behind with a strap on and punish me !!! I was honestly sweating and feared for my own back doors !!I know you shouldnt race round but after that experience My legs went a lot faster than they usually do. !!
