I've just been up the shops and theres a casual wandering around the estate.....he'll probably get mugged this time of night.
Revision was meant to start next Monday at my office but its all off as apparently the money won't be paid out until well after xmas.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Our office has only ever employed casuals once - once was enough.

Our office is four weeks into the six week bedding in period.Quite a few are managing to complete only one walk. The latest management tactic is to split people up and place them on other walks. So now some are on walks they havent signed for,all they are told is its as directed. Are management allowed to do this?

No Idea who you are in the real world but I can tell you work in the same shambles office as me over here in sunny Swinton! All I am going to say is that you aint seen nothing yet - a whole lot more of this next week. BTW, not completed once yet and I have worked to my time every day! Average of 6 huge bundles returned every day and dumped on my frame. Management go sick at me every time but I dont care, the walk is just too big.

It tells a tale when so many revisions have been put off.

The parking outside our callers office is becoming dangerous with cars parked all over the place.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The End of the second week of revision . The Barrow office is just getting by , if it wasn't for the good will of the staff for working overtime it would be a disaster . God knows what the overtime bill must be . Surely there must be management trawling this web site who think that revision will work out in the end , or is it a 100% disaster and they've just given up the fight . At the end of the day every mad idea gets some support , can this be the first idea in the all of history where everyone agees it's been a total disaster ..
