the future that awaits us has been decided politically by the pro boss labour party. how long are we going to let our future as workers be determined by union officials who have incomes not in any way related to our own, who do not have any understanding anymore of what it is like to live week to week on meagre wages and who are also members of the ruling elites main party. In the past the Tories were the boss nos.1 party and labour nos.2, this has change completely with the labour party being the boss nos.1. get organised outside of labour, reject funding for labour.
Alll union officials to be paid the average wage of those workers they represent.
And, if the rumours are true, then Hayes has done more to reduce us as a union than even the devil Keggie did. I hohope their post t/u activity brings them nothing but ill health

Serious point to be made....

This is a free to join AND use forum. How will it stand up in court if I join as "Mr.X" from Nowhere and then MR X from Nowhere then gets fired for what I post?

Can they absolutely prove it was Mr X posting? Can they prove the location?

It's open to abuse. A manager who wants to get rid of someone he doesn't like is very easily able to join as "that" person", post a load of bollox, then fire the person he doesn't like for what is said on here...

There was a case recently, of a bank worker in France, a UK lass, who won her case, that what she said outside of work, about her work, on the net, was "free speech".. maybe that should be looked into... and if anyone can point out the case in question, that'd be great.

Two cases :-A UKIP candidate got a court order for the ISP to provide details as firstly somebody said something derogatory about him , I think the forum withdrew the post but the poster despite being warned, made another objectionable statement .

There was a guy called Staggsfan supposedly said something contentious about a New Labour MP on the Mansfield Town Site , the MP got a court order for the ISP to provide contact details but the nasty solictors letter went to the wrong person as there was a few people of that name in Mansfield . The MP being shopped to Private Eye didn't look good either.

RM would love to try it on but even Royal Fail know they'd be entering a legal minefield trying to keep the s*** under the carpet.

There's been the not so subtle hints & thinly veiled threats in editorial articles on Hellfail and the odd statement by their RM Propoganda Plant mods before they decided the trade unionists were dragging too much s*** up and had to pull the forum. It's obvious that Postmanscab has been leaned on by RM but as per usual with RM it's just sour grapes , bluff & bluster, bullying , willy waving as that's all those people are capable of .

Nothing new under the Sun , BR brought in a rule that made media contact a sackable offence as Reps tended to get letters printed in the papers i.e . " We will button up your mouth " was the stock statement.

Hellfail haven't hesitated to slate this site under free speech using the typicially RM way of very vague & obscure justification to make things fit.

I bet the managers who go on this site do so at work in work time on work computers as after the posties have gone out on their rounds the managers have nothing to do.
The Pay and Modernisation agreement states that all working hours are to be utilised,fair enough but that only seems to apply to posties hours.
Maybe to save money Royal Mail can make their managers part time.I mean we all know the business is looking to introduce part time jobs so why not start with them.

Perhaps only for Operational Mangers, I am pretty certain IB and HR would be able to get on here, and I would suspect Area Managers and HQ Management are able to as well.

Yes the sites blocked from the network. I managed to use twice then found it blocked during the early stages of I.A. Last year.
