Re: Pay Supplement
Of course if we take the I work harder and should have more money argument then lets go the whole hog and and have differing levels of basic pay for each and every type of OPG job.
Scrap all the add ons and set basic pay at a level that refelcts the work required of each and every type of OPG job.
I would like to see all add ons scrapped and all OPG's to have the same decent level of hourly basic pay, say £12 a hour.

It must be something to do with the new supplements we're all getting.Stormproof wrote:I posted this in another thread but think it got missed. Does anyone know whatmeans? Did anyone else get that message at the bottom of their payslips? I did phone wages but did'nt have a clue what the hell he was on about.NEW INCOME FUNDY PAYABLE FROM 7/06/10 NEW INCOME FUNRP PAYABLE FROM 7/06/10 INCOME FUNDY CHANGED TO £13.92
If it aint then it doesn't matter as we don't get anything else,it must be a standard message.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Pay Supplement
When i stated that my pension would be affected before the vote was made BigDaz you told me that allowances and you quoted me would be protected. Are you now telling me differently? My payrise does not make up for the future loss in my pension.

2010 says and I quote
Individuals in receipt of pensionable allowances incorporated into this payment will retain full pensionability of those elements on a reserved rights basis.
If you belive this is not reflected on your payslip ring up wages and get it sorted!!

Re: Pay Supplement
Do you seriously think there's any chance of £12 an hour when management have said that we're overpaid and the minimum wage or thereabouts is what they really want us on ?Big Daz wrote:Of course if we take the I work harder and should have more money argument then lets go the whole hog and and have differing levels of basic pay for each and every type of OPG job.

Re: Pay Supplement
Yes, as it involves reployment of current funds into basic pay. But that neeeds to be done on the basis of winners only.
I very much like the idea of being able to change tasks/jobs without any loss of pay and choose a different task/job because that one appeals to me rather than doing simply for the money. We are all OPG's and all our jobs are important to the smooth running of RML. CWU should concentrate on one decent living rate of basic pay for ALL OPG's rather than constantly trying to get a bit more money for this job and a bit more money for that job. Whatever hapened to equality?
