It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Actually not that bad here done in by 1045 which for me is good.

Though we have been told by DOM that on 9 Apr they will be implementing the cut of 13 walks by excutive action. Also loosing1 driver and all nights.

They are not changing the start time though. Guess we might be joining the Burslem lads. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Yeah,as i forecast in my "i don't like saturday thread" i don't think now you can turn up on saturday and expect an easy day, infact mondays have now become a lighter day(officially according to our DOM)
up here today it wasn't fantastic, but better than recent saturdays.

Had loads of the other stuff today 'DSA' bit of Mailsort but not as much as the 'DSA' stuff.
Sat is just another normal day really down my way,the only thing is you have the option to leave the Mailsort, which aint a lot anyway.
Saturdays are finished now full stop.

Not too bad, little bit cold first thing but think that I might have sunstroke now. These picketlines can be a bitch but very well worth it and good company. Hope it starts raining soon for these managers though

IT WONT, SOME OF THE NEW DUTIES ARE SHORT OF A BIT OF THINKING ,AND NONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN TESTED YET, SHOULD BE FUN FOR THE MANAGERS WITH LESS PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME AMOUNT OF WORK, EVEN OUR DOM WAS OUT DELIVERING TODAY, AND HE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK SATS.
IF WE CAN GET PEOPLE TO STOP WORKING FOR NOTHING WE MAY GET A TRUE IDEA OF WHAT GEO ROUTE TURNS OUT, WE ARE PAID FOR SO MANY HOURS, AND WE SHOULD WORK FOR SO MANY HOURS, WITH 3 1/2 DEL TIME IN THOSE HOURS ,IF IT DONT FIT ,ITS UP TO ALL OF US TO GET IT CHANGED SO THAT IT DOES, AFTER ALL THE WHOLE POINT OF GEO ROUTE IS THAT FROM NOW ON THERE ARE NO BAST ARD WALKS AND NO GIFTS, BUT IN OUR CASE I THINK OUR UNION REP AND FRIENDS ARE AS MUCH RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROBLEMS WE ARE GOING TO FACE AS OUR GAFFER HE EVEN SAID TO EACH SECTION THAT HIS BOSS(AREA) HAD RIDDEN THIS THROUGH NOT AT ANY POINT DID HE GIVE IT HIS BLESSING
CASE OF WAIT AND SEE AND AT LEAST THE LADS GET THEIR EVR OUT OF IT,I BELIEVE WE ARE BEEN CUT DOWN NOW IN RESPECT OF THE NEW AUTOMATION ARRIVING HOPE IT GETS HERE FAST OR WE ARE GOING TO BE FUC KED

Wednesday was busy but not as bad as I thought. When I got in I saw bundles of council tax letters but apparently they are sending them out in stages so only got the 3 bundles I saw.

Finished 1245 - 25 mins docket TBC when I get back in Friday.
