Apparently at the halfway point. However my office was on the 393 offices list and we have only half gone live. With no timeline to go fully live as can't get close to fully staffed as people leaving as fast as they can recruit them

Re: 393? offices
Unless anyone else leaves or goes sick which is a big if we should have enough staff to put 4 people back on the pods for Christmas which sounds ok but last year obviously they had 4 on them and were only doing 1 side anyway and couldn't complete without the parcel drivers assistance so yeah it's going to be s**t

As far as we've heard DM26 will carry on right through Xmas Pressure.

Re: 393? offices
Yes it'll carry on but in theory due to having sufficient staff as there's no-one on leave the plan is to put an extra person back on the pods so back to four people doing two duties, obviously still heavy and light DM26, plus presumably the usual parcel assistance, what could possibly go wrong eh.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑28 Sep 2026, 20:05As far as we've heard DM26 will carry on right through Xmas Pressure.

1,100 Delivery Offices have an Actual Gone Live Date. 'Royal Mail'
As of 11th September 2026, 738 delivery units have deployed DM26. 'CWU'
I get the slightest impression that the left hand and right hand are out of sync.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Definitely isn't working in ours. Singletons generally are.... but pods, including singletons within pods are a complete disaster.

Same for us. We're going to have nobody left soon on the pods as they're either going sick or have quit. The new starters who've joined in the last few weeks are still there but mostly hanging on by a thread and I can see them leaving in the run up to peak.

Re: 1000 offices gone live?
It’s impossible for me to get out before 10 in my pod so it’s leaves us 4:30 to go 5 plus hours work.
It obviously doesn’t work but the management think if they call you lazy and shout at you this will get you to complete.
