Isn't the idea that there will be no reserves?

3 people doing the work of 4 means a spare body, where do they go?

I can't explain our Sunday workers rota because I don't understand it, but when they work a Sunday they have 4 days off so that would be 4 days they are not in a pod
The turnover in staff is so high that no one will lose their job, natural wastage will take care of any overstaffing. Within weeks depots will be short staffed and struggling even more than now.
As for new entrants leaving because of the two tiered workforce, many of them don't stay long enough to even realise they're on a lower rate.
They leave because the depots are chaos, the frames incoherent because they've had random stuff added over the years and half of them are impossible to tie up without an essay of what goes where.
If RM really wanted DM26 to work there would have been a ground up revision with frames reorganised properly. Instead its been a quarter assed project rolled out by morons with no idea how to plan and execute a project properly.
CWU also need to have a think about the time wasted over the last 2 years with getting on board with ODM then DM26 without basic fixes like a warts and all revision taking place in each office. Duties that can't complete just now, whats the solution? Let's pair 2 shared vans together that can't complete as it is and then take 1 member of staff away.

Totally agree they've had absolutely ages to get their stuff together and do it properly for a change, we're going live soon with our current unbalanced duties, some will have it easier whilst others will be even more f****d.
