If you mean SA on Thursday - then its the union who said no overtime/SA on normal duties that start after 12.00 Midday today.

Understand what your saying I don't agree with it, but some people wanted to do S/A today to help fund their 4 day strike loss, but management are looking at every avenue to cut our earnings to re-coupe our losses!

Just in from picket duty, some folk really should hang their heads in shame, 4 guys in working and another 2 from a different office driving in to collect mail, scumbags, nothing more, nothing less, bastards

How was my day? the same as always, people coming in early well before their times,no O/T on your own walks,so guess what?people STILL getting back early and taking parts of other walks out,Any reduction in people using cars? Like f**k,any more people going out on the vans? like f**k,everybody says stay strong lads, lets stick together as they disappear in a cloud of exhaust fumes, cars loaded with mail, and guess what when I am still doing my round about 1300,I see the same cars out side their houses, lets stick together my arse, only when it suits them,I still say there was no need for a strike!

Those who go out in their cars mostly go straight home, does it not occur to them that the screws might drive round and have a look?

once they give us those trackers, sorry scanners, they will insist on you going back to download it anyway, or if not they will know where the scanner is at any time or when your last scanned delivery was.

I am not saying that,What I said is that by now things would be have ground to a halt, about 25 to 30 people go out in their cars,if they suddenly said no I am going out on the van, where would they get 4 more vans and drivers from, walks have changed and their isn't enough bag drops, the pouch boxes there is over half haven't got keys, thats what I meant they would not be able to cope

Apologies, my mistake. Yes agree if people did it properly, RM's knackered, but you just listed what actually occurs in your office so since this is what we are faced with, can only strike.
Also doing it properly will encourage ambitious managers to target and victimise perceived ringleaders, they are doing so already.
