:hmmmm That's a light day for me, usual day is 3 bags plus large packets :chuckle although, we're moving to yorks for our packets instead of the DBF because of the amount.

Yesterday was a bugger, Got about a quarter the way into the round and I noticed a puddle under the van, had a closer look and it was diesel and was leaking from a pipe, took it back to the office and was given another van and the door fell off!!.
Mind I thought I was having problems until on a windy road in the middle of nowhere I found a Parcel Force van attached to a Tuffnells Lorry ,they had hit head on .
I stopped to see if all was ok as there did not seem to be anyone moving about and the Parcel Force driver came hobbling around from the back of his van , he had smacked his knee on the dash but everyone was ok.
On the side of the Parcel Force van was the logo about turning red vans green and he did not seem amused when I pointed out that embedding yourself into a Tuffnells green lorry was a bit of a drastic way of going green.

Absolutely hammered with packets today, never seen the like outside of Xmas. Did an extra half a walk and finished dead late. Got home and our lass drops a bottle of red wine, it seeps under everything. I am sticky, tired, pissed off and smell like a street drinker. FML.

cut off most days since it started. mail being taken by guys who are spare next day. or by posties being phoned in on weeks off(more fool them) customer had a go today asked why she had 2 deliverys so told her why ( mail from day before) said she was waiting for mail that an estate agent had sent her. i told her to ring estate agent and tell them to ring royal mail for a answer as to why its not being delivered on time.

I doubt the MC could've sent anymore post down to us, most people got between 4/5 trays of letters on the second lorry and most didn't get anything on the first. Not to mention that the second lorry was 30minutes late (must have been waiting for all that DSA to go through the machines).

nearly everyone had 4 trays of mech mail today, usually its just 2 or 3.
however i had very few packets to take out, and ended up finishing 15 minutes early, looked like it was gonna be a hard day with all the letters
