Not too bad today, just waiting for the weather to go BANG! any minute now judging by the colour of the sky :nervous

Edit: Its gone BOOM big time :nervous :nervous
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

^^ We're still pre-revision. The round next to me is being covered this week, and the lad doing it said he was done by 11 yesterday and expected even earlier today. He admits he does run all the way

Will be grist to the lino's mill, as the duty holder is the complete opposite. One of those who spends more time complaining about how hard his duty is, than actually doing it.

^^ I do feel a tiny bit sorry for the duty holder, but not much. He really has been a piss-taker in the past. Always turning up late and often not very nice to his colleagues ie. if you were covering a bit of his walk because it was 'too much' for him, you'd find an extra bundle in your bag that you hadn't agreed to. Has got away with it until recently, frankly because he's deaf.

The current lino has gradually made him and the other shirkers realise that those days are over.

Off work this week. Miss a few of the lads but frak all else. Have been really lazy so far. Bought a few TV shows off Amazon and am currently in a bit of a stupor watching episode after episode. Usually go out biking every other day, played some six-a-side football yesterday, might go to the gym on Friday. But apart from that, am pretty much in energy conservation mode. There's something horrible about the passage of time when you're off work though. It seems to run away from you like a waterfall bursting through your fingertips. The rest of the time it kind of dribbles through. Oh well, better not spend my time before it's gone. Am off to do some stuff - enjoy yourselves.

Conga?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Had a shocker today 3.15pm finish. Iam a PT and walked in to half my prep not done and still the lino was standing there arguing with me about taking out lapsing

Also heard a rumour today there might not be any more summer lapsing at my DO! But thats because our DOM is just going to do a little revision and add it all on to our walks instead! awesome day.....
