Buy a new saddle from the `Big-Ass` range of saddles. I went on the ChainReaction site and bought the biggest (male) saddle they do.
Absolute luxury. Next time I might buy the biggest female one, if it makes a difference. Life is too short to put up with a racing saddle.

Got my letter of collection worth £400 and reserved a bike online worth £460, went to collect the bike only to be told that I can't add any money from my own pocket to pay for the bike. I'm paying for it regardless! Can anyone help me on this matter as to wat I do next? Thanks

You've got two options - you either buy another bike worth £400 or less, or, you just need to wait for a few weeks until the 2014 bikes are unveiled, usually around the end of August. When that happens, Halfords usually reduce the price of quite a few of their current bikes, which may include the bike you are after.

If you're close enough to a "Leisure lakes" bikes shop, try your luck in there (they accepted my LOC about 4 years ago, probably still do, but ring them first).
they have a much better bike selection, and as previously suggested, they also sell older models at a much reduced rate.
you could also contact the cycle2work team, as you haven't used your LOC yet, ask if you can return it, and replace it with a higher value one.

Yeah I asked about cancelling the whole thing but as I've signed the hire agreement it cannot be cancelled. I really can't see what the big issue is all about, I mean I'm the one who's gonna be out of pocket not Halfords nor Royal Mail
