It seemed really busy on IPS.
My walk seemed busy as I prepped it.
Delivery span 2hr 35 mins.
I still feel like I forgot to do a couple of bags.

I thought today was OK but it took me 4 hours 40 minutes to deliver.................and I was really happy with that.

I have seen the dreaded SENSELESSES!

They're stacked by the fittings ready for delivery. They're big, they're flat, they're fugly mother-fuglies. There are notes on all of our fittings explaining that delivery commences Monday, for completion by Wednesday. We shall see about that, we shall see. I think I'll deliver as much as I am able to in 5 hours, for some reason. How hopelessly stupidly quaint of me, I suppose.

As for today, bit of a 'mare. Heavy as a mother-frakker in terms of weight of mail, but in terms of the call rate, probably not higher than the (lighter) Monday. Walk took three and a half hours.

Horrendous today 4 hours delivery, they seem to be chucking everything at us before the census next week, are's starts on wed next week and we have till wed the following week, to the guy who has 3 days to do them good luck lol.

Another heavy day and the longer rounds struggled. Mine took about 4hr 20min which put me about 15 mins over.

The census has arrived and is sitting on the bank, there is a lot of it

I remember in my second or third week, getting shin splints so bad, I could hardly walk. A week later, no problems. Initial niggles are commonplace I think, but should go fairly quickly as your body becomes accustomed to the job. Good luck in your first week on your own.

I started on Monday and today was my first go at it on my own. 684ish houses on my round i think. it took me 3hours and 50 mins so i went 20 mins over. i feel like i have been beaten up . Got to do it all again 2moro. I guess you get used to it?!?

You never really get used to it you just recover faster :)

Everyone had to go in front of the stand-in dom to justify o/t this morning, after much explaining why, he still locked away the dockets on our return. Very silly manouvre in my opinion with the census letters arriving on Monday, many posties outraged and threatening to cut off mon,tues,weds. Lots of people would have helped out previously(bent over backwards even) with such a big contract, but hey ho, they reap what they sow!!!!!

Ive heard some of the guys at my D.O have an overtime motto, ' any time you make is theirs, any time you lose is your own'... At the moment i like the job though, its a lot better than my last one
