Rurals are somewhat easier to manage if you're going to finish early ...... you normally find a milking herd has held you up while they cross the road! :thumbup

DOM:....... "The PDA actuals show you sat stationary for 10 mins at this point"! ...... Postie: "Well that was where the cows were crossing the road"! :whistle

Moral of the story is: Don't Return to the Office until your finishing time if the DOMs got his eye on you........ that's generally if you have enough work, and work properly. If you're a "Runner" on an "Easy" Duty you can do what you want provided you don't book any overtime. Well that's the way it seems to work in my DO. :cuppa
I wouldn't put it past RM to install dash cams in all vehicles of all types eventually

I doubt it SP ... if it involves spending money! :left: We have a BIG problem with PDAs and one of those was the batteries going flat (I understand that's been solved by buying new ones). I would have thought it a good idea to use the docking stations, which are fitted in the vans (God knows why) to recharge the PDAs .... But apparently they weren't connected due to the cost.

We all know RM are paranoid about saving money .... hence the doing away with Blue Crayons .... Re-Direction Bags ..... Large Rubber Bands .... Often a case of Spoiling the Ship for a hapenny of Tar. :cuppa
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)

The problem with the PDA batteries was probably down to the number of charge cycles, the ability of the batteries to hold their charge will have deteriorated over time.

Blue crayons aren't needed anyway, anything that's not a letter or flat will have a kill-off sticker on it, btw if you've got any RTS letters and you have a bow for mechable RTS letters, if the return address is on the back and there's nothing that the machines could confuse for the address, then place them into the mech box with the rear facing forward, the machines can sort them to the return address and at the other end get sequenced as well

We've been fairly well drilled with RTS & Redirections. All in seperate boxes with Return Addresses facing forward. :angel

We've even got Pink Stickers! :cuppa
