If you can't use a trolley then the bags should weigh no more than 5/8kg.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Is this a joke?
Our deliveries were timed at 4 hours and 15 mins and some of them cant be done in that time.
I would kill for a 3.5 hour round.
What the f**k is going on within Royal Mail? It seems each office have different rules.

Split them down, don't carry heavy bags. If that means you can't complete then so be it. Changing to light bags will make a huge difference to how you feel at the end of a walk.

Try and get a duty in the NW1 office.
Their duties are still 2.5 hours.

However, no way jose would I do a 4.5 hour walk on a 5 day static week = they could
My duty outdoor work is 5hrs, part ind part residential most days a week, I am senior , yet some duties are only 2.5/.3.5

Some other duties with HCT are also 4.5rs Loads of B/H going on ,

In our office if you are one of the lucky one's on the 2.5 duty and go home, the manager loves you, for those of us that are brave enough to cut off then all hell is let loose :no no
