Royal Mail will be able to "seriously undercut TNT" once they have reduced our pay and conditions towards those of TNT workers.

RM has looked at Sunday delivery but at the moment the feeling is that we can't do it cost effectively.

I believe that some units as part of their preference exercise for attendance patterns are being asked if they are interested in including Sunday working in their weekly contracted hours.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Where I deliver.....(mostly students).....mail is consistent....but small packets/items requiring signatures have gone through the roof.......takes up more time...but my gaffers cannot see this!

Nice Theory pity its against the law

Its called Access Headroom and put legislation in that limits how much Royal Mail can charge the DSA Companies, and what prices Royal Mail can offer to potential clients without it being "unfair" to our Competitors.
I believe Royal mail are working out ways around this to hit TNT where in hurts. Thats why TNT have complain to ofcom about its proposed new pricing structure for dsa customers. Basically giving a discount to those dsa companies that dont deliver its own mail.
