Our office has the highest rate of excess d2d in our area and management are taking it very seriously. Even had specialist counters in counting the d2d,s. All excess have to be handed to lino with a conformation of delivery sheet filled out, and they want us to give a reason why there are to many. With 5 or 6 d2d on each round it dose not take long until the York near the dom,s office starts filling up

The reason there are too many is that you've been given too many. It sounds to me that they are basically accusing staff of not doing them. But RM and/or their managers wouldn't do such a thing as jump to a conclusion, would they? :Very Happy

We have 2 huge skips in our mail yard full to the brim of D2D's, with so much health and safety nowadays I wonder why this hasn't been flagged up as a fire hazard.

We're not only being asked to deliver our excess D2D's(when it's obvious they haven't been counted properly by the distributers) but also any D2D's that have been found dumped.
We were told last year that any left over/or dumped D2D's were returned and the customers were compensated for those not delivered. Obviously they shouldn't be compensated if they were not counted correctly (and this matter should be dealt with by management) but they should be entitled to compensation for the dumped ones. We are now being told told the dumped D2D's are to be distributed amongst the deliveries so they don't have to send any back(and therfore not pay any compesation). This is surely 'fraud' and I don't wish to be a part of it and possibly even appear in another Dispatches programme doing it.
We were also told last year that dumping D2D's could carry a prison sentence. Therefore isn't this 'dumping' D2D's through peoples letterbox's where the customer hasn't asked them to go. Who goes to prison, the postman, the manager for telling the postman or someone higher up the chain of command, possibly Moya if she's aware of this and does nothing to stop it?
