I don't know but it's utter bullshit.
What if you're last pick?
How do you make reasonable adjustments to a reserve duty?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

It would depend on the disability...........
But it would be very difficult to tailor every duty to any disability.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

FACT, if you are covered by the DDA or EQUALITY ACT or have a genuine FAMILY FRIENDLY CASE then you may well take priority over a Seniority List. It may well be that you will have to adjust your working hours (start and finish times, and number of hours worked).

You may have to have a set day off each week.
You may have to have a duty with a smaller amount of walking.
You may have to have an indoor duty, such as Callers/Cage.
You may have to "flex up" (e.g., finish earlier one day, make up the hours another day).

This could be a permanent thing or it could be temporary, it all depends on your condition.

You need to keep YOUR OWN documented paper trail and COPY everything to your Union Rep/Equality Rep and your manager, no matter how useless they may be. (doctor's records, hospital details etc).
Everything from your OWN MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL needs to be kept and highlighted, rather than just references to ATOS.

If you look at any other company then you will find a variety of different start times/finish times, to suit staff requirements - why do we all live in the dark ages in Royal Mail?!!
