It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I know this might be slightly off the thread but some time ago a Plymouth MDEC keyer started a Keyers website the keyer has since left the MDEC but it appears that around the time the keyer left the Website was purchased by a senior manager for an undisclosed amount so that it could be closed down.

Wonder why? could it have been because some (or most) of the posts were hitting a bit too close to home? Or then again perhaps there were other reasons

BEWARE - Big Brother is watching you (he may even be working alongside you)
LET US PRAY (At least then someone will listen)

I think we're all aware that we have 'company' on this site. Sometimes it seems the truth hurts. Long live RMC

"Allan Leighton’s preferred message from this little insight in his book is that successful leaders laugh at themselves"

Go for it Al! Every time you appear on the box in your clowns outfit, you make everyone else laugh at you so you might as well laugh along!

This is where the likes of Hitler and Stalin missed out. If only they had read Allan's book things might have been so different!

"Oh crap! The bloody allies have landed in Normandy when I thought they were going to land further north! Aren't I stupid Rommel old pal?"
"Ja! You're as cracked as Hess, but at least you've got a sense of humour mien Fuhrer!"
"Ha, ha, ha, ha! Thank goodness for Allan Leighton's book. It's funnier than 'Mein Kampf.' Now go and commit suicide and we'll say no more about it!"

"So Molotov, did you send for Trotsky and ask him if he will return from exile to help run our ailing economy?"
"No Friend of the Workers, I didn't! When you said "Pick Trotsky", I thought you meant something entirly different and send that Mercarder chap to Mexico to kill him!"
"You soft sod Molotov! Here we are - millions bloody starving, up to our arses in snow and fake bleeding hieresses to the Romanov throne, millions of frigging peasants wondering why they are worse off now than they were before I took over, and you kill the one man with any idea of how to start a bleeding tractor! Pass me that copy of Allan Leighton's book and we'll have a good laugh at ourselves while I organise your show trial."
"Nice one Joe! Ha, ha, ha!"

Well, I wouldn't want to be seen walking around Asda shouting at the staff just because they've moved the custard creams to where the digestives used to be.

But when it comes to raising a laugh on here, you're the man I-POSTIE! :Applause

That which I am wondering is: Has Al had to admit that he has "SCREWED UP!" once again?
Seems to me RM was on the same course as ASDA :d'oh!
