They're probably not being leased or whatever and so aren't costing RM anything besides running costs.

Mind you when i was driving the smeggers they spent more time in the workshops than on the road. The rear door lock barrels were made from tin foil

TBH all you do is set yourself up for people to 'have a laugh at you', maybe if you exercised a bit of restraint instead of mouthing off constantly you wouldn't have to deal with people 'having a go at you'.

All I've done on here lately that bucks the trend is ask for a bit of thought before the members on here dive in with both feet against anyone who doesn't sort as slow as possible, drag their heels on delivery and make life as hard as possible for themselves and everyone else.

You forgot the car users as well,i think i read on here that some vans have been lost because they weren't being used or summin like that and also summin about an office is so bad,cars have to be used.

We have been told we MUST lose a van and if our rep cant choose which delivery will suffer then our dom will pick it for us. So it goes like this rep " can you do without your van" postie "no of course not, how will i cope" Rep "oh ok then".

And it goes around and around with no one wanting to give up a van.

If you're using a van for 5/6 hours on delivery then how can they take it off you?? All the vans in my office are out for that long even though they don't travel more than 10 miles a day.

We have one shop delivery which was motorised way back with the SDD agreement and our DOM recons if we cant decide (why should it be us anyway) she will take that one. Thing is when this duty got a van it also took on a load of parcels which came off another duty which was cut about 5 years back. So who's going to do those when the posties back on a bike

Also when it comes to the problems that removing a van will create no doubt we will be expected to work that one out ourselves as well. Oh at zero cost of course
