Apparently the box had been damaged and they taped it up.
When you say you had a strap on last week..................... oh it was in the package, right :angel
:chuckle
FFS just leave it for me under the box at the corner of the door
:d'oh! I couldn't there was s**t load of brown paper packages there already ffs!
Some were leaking as well. :nervous

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It is most likely a wind up by one of his "mates".
If you look behind the label it's a re-used bag.
I hope his wife has a sense of humour. :nervous

This made me laugh for some reason :funneh

I remember working in the callers office and we always recognised the PABO boxes which were like a large shoebox with a surprisingly loose strapex loop around them. Less surprising was how many times the strappex loop fell off :whistle

It was quite startling how many young chaps around the town had ordered the selection pack of purple butt-plugs. And it was always funny to watch them collect their package and then stand in the yard and open it in full view of everyone and then quickly shut it when they realised it wasn't the DVD boxset they were waiting for but that "other" packet.

Going back a while, but one of my colleagues showed me the contents of a cardboard box he was to deliver,
The only person living at this house was an elderly gentleman,
the contents of the box ?
A lifesize rubber arm with fist !

and why don't we have a "Vomit" smiley ?

Surprisingly judgemental for you FT.
Maybe she doesn't care about Valentine's Day. I know I don't.
Maybe there were medical problems involved.
Maybe she was going to strap it on and the pair of them were going to have the time of their lives.............
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

After nearly 40 years of marriage I have never once not bought my wife a card and gift for valentines day, actually it is St Valentines day really - the down side is it costs a fortune in batteries  I mean there are so many models, they're like a car - a new model every year :chuckle I always address the package to next door just in case it gets ripped in the post.
