Re: Who really is losing in this agreement.
the deal is no-way a good one or fair ! our rep has said some people will gain , some lose !! ?? how is that fair when we are all part of the same company and also the cwu . i cannot vote in favour of a deal that is also saying in 3yrs we have more pay , why not reverse it and have the big pay jump this yr and the lower amount in yr 3 - i tell you why because i doubt it will exsist , maybe not even the royal mail will be around then - lets be honest there is lots going on behind the scenes we know nothing about ! we striked when asked , (well most of us did ! ) we deserve to be treated fair and we arnt - use your common sense here , when the strikes were on and just when the system got clogged up the cwu (twice) called for calm and we gave in - i fear everyone picked up on this and now everyone knows they can get away with changes they want to ! if we vote no get round the table and get a respectable way forward with sensible hours for the job of this kind - the hot summer if it arrives will be crazy to be out in the heat , same in winter in cold - very dangerous and none of this obvious common sense has been fully looked into . make your choice - think carefully - there may be trouble ahead (either way change is coming ! )

Well if this deal goes through when the sh1t hits the fan we all know whats coming - well you voted it in - we all know exactly whose future they are safeguarding and it isn't ours - exactly what sanctions will be imposed if RM don't not meet expectations on the "new understanding" - somewhere in my archived documents I have a letter from the CWU dated the 15th of September which clearly states "the dishonesty of the senior Royal Mail management in any dealings with the CWU" yet six months later we have a new understanding and mutual respect - I've searched high and low but I haven't come across it yet.mucker wrote:try telling lovejoy and others that. in one ear out the otherprotect us wrote:the deal is no-way a good one or fair ! our rep has said some people will gain ,some lose !! ??![]()
And this is the same management we have to put our trust in? I don't think so!

Dear Colleague
Royal Mail Dispute: Factual Position On Status Of Talks
Branches will be aware that in media interviews today Royal Mail Director of Operations Paul Tolhurst has been inviting the Union to "sign the agreement" he claims was reached by the negotiating teams late on Tuesday night. We have received reports that managers have been briefing staff in similar terms and Royal Mail have released a press statement which quotes Royal Mail Managing Director Mark Higson claiming "we have an agreement that was reached on Tuesday night…… but the Union Leaders who were in the negotiations could not get the support of their own Executive".
Sadly, this is a further demonstration of the deliberate dishonesty of Senior Royal Mail managers.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Absolutment! Your archives are much better than mine it takes me ages to find something probably because I just save things at will and bung them any old where. In future I'll ask you first and then I can get on with watching a true movie on the TV and Masterchef on my laptop as well as bobbing on here - you are a star.fishtank wrote:Would this be it Dvb

I'm sure that everyone can see that this is nothing but nacht und nebel and not worthy of a once great union to perpetrate on its members and forever shame on them. I am sure there is a hidden agenda which or may not come out in due course.

If you're a part time member of staff, we get taken the p**s out of enough. Voting yes is suicide for us....
