Just wait till they say the call rate is down form 93% to 83% or even 79% if you are not going their you can walk right passed at 4mph+ makes you laugh if you are a manager or you have a big fat bonus!. :cfosteven100 wrote:1.7% in walking speed is hardly anything we'll still be going at 4 mph. Another flaw in the deal, our union leaders should go out on deliver and walk at 4 mph. I'll be voting no if this is correct.

Re: What they have agreed so far
i just hope everyone reads the the agreement and doesn't just agree to it cos the rep says its a good deal and they'll just bring it in anyway. thats what our rep said in 2007 and then he left to be a manager bless him. also once we get paid a fixed amount for doing d2d we'll never get a break from them and the upper limit will soon rise 6+ a week. i smell a rat.

Billy and Dave could roll at 4 mph.

I just hope Monkeyboy meant 17% and not 1.7% because that would take the speed down to roundabout 3.5mph-any proposed deal with a speed above that is organised S&M with Adam Crozier tickling our lump sums in a gimp mask..

They can halve the speed of Pegasus for all it matters - if the walk is no longer constrained to 3.5 hours they can do whatever they like.

Re: What they have agreed so far
Thanks to everyone who has provided more info.I shall wait until I see the proper deal in full before I make my mind up.I hope there is more substance to what has been said as the way things like no 3.5 delivery span is open to abuse as you could in theory do ALL your hours delivering if there is no limit. One thing I've not heard about so I hope something is in this agreement, and that is the current Attendance Procedure which is open to abuse by managers as is the conduct of Atos in some cases.Has this been sorted?

I believe that this agreement does not have anything to do with the attendance procedure as we all suffer the same with that at times!.tomangoe wrote:Thanks to everyone who has provided more info.I shall wait until I see the proper deal in full before I make my mind up.I hope there is more substance to what has been said as the way things like no 3.5 delivery span is open to abuse as you could in theory do ALL your hours delivering if there is no limit. One thing I've not heard about so I hope something is in this agreement, and that is the current Attendance Procedure which is open to abuse by managers as is the conduct of Atos in some cases.Has this been sorted?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
