lots are coming in early working for free through so maybe that has an affect on managers expectations.
How many of them would start complaining about DPs being added to their walks. If the DOMs and higher up are getting the false impression that the walks are doable then they're going to believe that there's scope for extra lapsing
Seems to be already happening. A revision is coming in soon and one delivery has had two loops added to it seems to be a big problem when your lasping is taking 40 minutes. As I said I’ve only been there a short time but early starting seems to be a huge problem.

He’s saying. ‘It’s all good man’. The chart is showing all is good. Saul Goodman. It’s all good. S’all good. S’all Good Man. Saul Goodman.
Thanks for the explanation No 63 (what happenened to the other 62? .... "I am not a number I am a Free Man") :cool

Been a while since I watched better call Saul. :cuppa

we must be ok then , as we only fail 21 deliverys a day  , but never mind the share price is good and the shareholders will benefit off that , well done and cracking job rm , cwu :thumbup

Yes, it's wonderful for them.

Paying us idiots an extra £10 to clear 2 days mail when they should have paid someone £70 the day before to deliver the round. Saving a fortune and it seems like they are doing it on purpose as for 6 months now we have been understaffed. They can't be recruiting the amount of staff they need simply to cut costs....... DELAY OF MAIL !

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

What was your efficiency before your revision?
What is your new target?
Where should you be at the end of your 3 year flightpath?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

whats the issue at that DO?
Tracked items are the only thing that matter, walks being left in daily with the odd walk here and there being left for upto 4-5days. Packet bags piling up at fittings with non tracked packets in them, some fittings have 5/6/7/8 bags full. 14 people as of today off sick. D2D not done for 2 weeks on most walks. Walks have had in excess of 300 extra delivery slots added to them taking some up to 1600. Managers begging people to work over on a "name your price" offer with people being paid double. The DOM sits in the office and only comes out when everyone has gone. Not enough drivers delivering large parcels so they are now piling up. Office isn't fit for purpose. Office is a complete mess with weeks worth of D2D under fittings. Moral through the floor with people only now willing to do as little as possible because they've given up. That's all I can think of off the the top of my head.

The last time efficiency was mentioned our before revision was like 97-98%.

An announcement has been sent out to local council saying it's a "resource problem".

1600

I bet yesterday and today was fun, packets wise, as I had more than I've ever had with half that number of households.

Is that used as a field hospital for those who try to clear the office not just their frame?
