now,i need some help.This scheme was mentioned in the present issue of The Courier,but the website seems to have been discontinued.Can anyone advise me on how to register?

I had a cycle to work scheme bike before it got nicked from outside the office worst of all it was still there when I came back to the office after delivery but when I came out to unlock it it had gone so ended up getting this cheap bike to get me to work and still having the cost taken from my wages. Can't remember how long till its all clear but I will certainly apply for another one once this is done but it will be locked by let's say 5 padlocks!

As I understand it - the 10% is taken off the weekly amount you pay and not added to the LOC amount, but I could be wrong.

Got my letter the day anyone had any problems logging on to the website ? Asks for ur date of birth to get ur LOC and it says mine is a mismatch!! AHHHHHHHHH

I had a much better deal with a local bike dealer. Got £850 bike for £450...on "The Weekly".
It was mine from day 1, and none of this having to buy it outright stuff.

Look around, loads of 2012 bikes going cheap, as 2013 bike are starting to fill the stores and they have to shift old stock.

Still find it unbeleiveable how this national company can have such a low limit on the bike purchase value, £1000 is the standard voucher value for these schemes and employers with the correct paperwork can get vouchers for much more than £1000.

In the Halfords range these days, £500 is unlikely to get you a bike that will last many years, without spending out on annaul bike shops servicing and replacing those gear/brake mechanism installed on cheaper bikes.

By far your best bet for £500 is to buy a singlespeed bike, they are simple machines with no front or rear mech; chains will last longer because they are not being stretch during gear changes; they are often pretty light too (my £300 2008 Specialized Singlecross is <0.5Kg heavier than my £1500 Felt racer) becuase they do not have all the heavily gear gizmos.

Totally agree wanted to upgrade my Dogma to the new version 2 and the RM asked if I was talking the "pee". Won't even allow me to get an Edge 810.
Useless feckers the lot of them.
