It's funny I don't see my office on that list. Apparently we are one of the worst performing offices in the country, and believe me it is awful. I would say we have been failing in excess of 30% of delivery points for weeks. Figures being falsified maybe?

We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We will regularly update customers on the offices most impacted here:

10

Beaworthy SPDO (EX21)
Brae SUDO (ZE2)
Braintree DO (CM6, CM7and CM77)
Colchester DO (CO1 to CO8)
Farnham DO (GU9 and GU10)
Hockley DO (SS5)
Lerwick DO (ZE1, ZE2)
Portishead DO (BS20)
Sandhurst DO (GU46 and GU47)
Teddington DO (TW11)

Following the recent amber weather warning customers in areas affected by snow and ice may experience some disruption to delivery and collection services. The majority of services are running as usual, but whilst we work to recover service there may be some disruption in the following areas of the country:

Parts of the Midlands, North East and North West England, North Wales and Scotland postcode areas, B18, B19, B20, B21, B29, B70, B71, BN9, BS21, BS49; CM6, CM7, CM77, CO1-CO8, HD8, HD9, LS27, PE26, PE28, PE29; S12, S13, S32, S33, S35, S36, S40, S41, S42, S43, S45, S49, S6, S70, S71, S72, S75, SS5, TW11, ZE1, ZE2

Units that report three consecutive days of 30% of DPs failing USO gets you on the list and public RM service disruption website. Then you need three consecutive days below 30% to get off the list (well below and back to stable USO).

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Update to today’s post - because I don’t normally look at the Mail Centre’s but this section is reporting failures too!

• Bristol Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the BA, BS, GL and TA postcode areas for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

• Cardiff Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the CF, LD and NP postcode areas for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

• Chelmsford Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the CM, CO and SS postcode areas.

• Dorset Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the BH and DT postcode areas.

• Medway Mail Centre: Some mail posted in other parts of the UK for delivery today in the CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas.

Press are onto this too - and ST is running out of excuses!

All change!

Now down to 9 but Bristol South East is new entry!

Sandhurst continues to be s**t 😂

• Brae SUDO (ZE2)
• Braintree DO (CM6, CM7and CM77)
• Bristol South East DO (BS4 and BS14)
• Clevedon DO (BS21)
• Colchester DO (CO1 to CO8)
• Farnham DO (GU9 and GU10)
• Portishead DO (BS20)
• Sandhurst DO (GU46 and GU47)
• Teddington DO (TW11)

The weather effected list has also decreased… which makes sense it hasn’t snowed for days (has it 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Parts of the Midlands, North East and North West England, North Wales and Scotland postcode areas, B18, B19, B20, B21, B29, B70, B71, BN9, PE26, PE28, PE29; S6, S12, S13, S32, S33, S35, S40, S41, S42, S43, S45, S49 and ZE2.

Quite why Peterborough postcodes are on that list I don’t know - I live close enough to say they shouldn’t be.

30 is an even, composite, pronic number. With 2, 3, and 5 as its prime factors, it is a regular number and the first sphenic number, the smallest of the form 2×3×r, where r is a prime greater than 3. It has an aliquot sum of 42, which is the second sphenic number.
